We are seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join our dynamic Tech Services team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and to be part of a team that values continuous learning and innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex applications using .Net Core, Microservices, API Development, React / Redux. You will be expected to contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .Net code.
2. Develop high-quality, scalable, and predictable web applications on the Microsoft technology stack and maintain internal and external facing web applications using .Net.
3. Collaborate with the software development team and other departments to ensure projects are completed to specification.
4. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
5. Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET.
6. Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.
7. Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
8. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies and apply them into the operational environment to improve the application platform.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. 5+ years of experience as a .Net Developer or Application Developer.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in Redux, .Net Core, API, and Microservices.
4. Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
5. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
8. Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs.
9. Able to work well in a team setting.
10. Strong knowledge of the .Net framework (4.5 and above).
11. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
12. Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and web development frameworks (AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery) is a plus.
