Job Summary
The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standards exist to ensure the reliability and security of the bulk electric system. As a member of the NERC Compliance Group, you will perform governance and oversight of PSEG’s compliance with the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards.
This role will focus on NERC CIP Standards.
Remote Local - at least 8x a month in-office expectation.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet critical NERC reporting deadlines to ensure PSEG compliance with NERC regulatory requirements.
- Compile, review, assess, and maintain NERC compliance documents.
- Develop plans for audit preparation and NERC mitigation activities.
- Apply and further develop NERC expertise to support PSEG NERC compliance program initiatives.
- Coordinate with and provide guidance to business units responsible for NERC compliance.
- Work collaboratively with business units to promote the NERC standard development processes that support the interests of the company, including interfacing with a variety of personnel and departments at all levels.
- Other relevant tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Compliance, Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience such as engineering, auditing, analytics, operations, or compliance or;
- In lieu of a degree, 8 years of equivalent experience such as engineering, auditing, analytics, operations or compliance.
Required Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
