Neonatology Nurse Practitioner - Cumming, GA

Join the Virtus Healthcare Staffing Team! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to join our partner, a healthcare facility in Cumming, GA.

Job Description:

As a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to critically ill newborns. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of neonates.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Providing advanced therapies, such as mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and inotropic support.
• Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educating parents and families about their infant's condition and care.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Master's Degree
• Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Valid Georgia RN license or ability to obtain

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Level III NICU
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neonatal medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Residency within the immediate local area is required
