Our client, a highly-regarded hospital in the beautiful suburban area of North Atlanta, is seeking an experienced, full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join their growing Neonatology team. About the Position
The successful candidate will join an expanding team dedicated to serving the needs of newborns and their families. This well-established practice includes Level III Neonatology services across two hospitals in Cumming and Canton, GA, both of which are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and are staffed with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Team Expansion: Join a growing team of 8+ NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs, and 4 board-certified neonatologists, expanding to ensure high-quality, 24/7 neonatal coverage at both hospital locations.
Location Details:
Cumming, GA (Level III NICU)
Average NICU census: 18-20
45 postpartum rooms
Services include HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE
Provides NBN coverage for >90% of all newborns
Canton, GA (Level III NICU)
Average NICU census: 13-15
16 NICU rooms with a Transition Nursery
Services include HFOV, iNO, EEG (whole body cooling available at Forsyth only)
Dedicated to 100% of newborn deliveries
Both Locations: Offer dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT/OT for developmental needs, speech therapy for feeds, and NICU milk prep services.
Specialized Support: Access to pediatric sub-specialists, including cardiology, neurology, and ophthalmology, along with on-site pediatric radiology for comprehensive neonatal care.
Flexible Scheduling: NNPs work 24-hour shifts with 7-8 shifts per month, rotating between both sites to support scheduling flexibility.
Core Responsibilities: NNPs are responsible for NICU and NBN care, including managing newborns in the Newborn Nursery and providing specialized neonatal support.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an NNP (excluding RN experience)
Certification: Board-certified Neonatal NP (NNP certification required; cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications)
Residency: Local residency required; relocation may be needed
Other Requirements: This is a permanent, full-time position (no locum tenens candidates accepted)
