Our company, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven NE Sales Manager to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in territory management, account management, prospecting, cold calling, and ingredients. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth in the Northeast region, building strong relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate should be motivated, goal-oriented, and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory.
2. Manage a portfolio of accounts, build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and understand their needs and objectives.
3. Identify and attract prospective new customers through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities.
4. Understand the ingredients used in our manufacturing processes and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
5. Coordinate with other teams in the organization to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
6. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends, and provide insights to the management team.
7. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively position our products against competitors.
8. Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote our company's products.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the ingredient manufacturing industry.
2. Proven track record in territory management, account management, prospecting, and cold calling.
3. Strong knowledge of the ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
5. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
6. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
8. Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and prospects.
9. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
