NDT Technician

We are seeking a qualified NDT Technician with expertise in non-destructive testing methods, specifically ultrasound, eddy current, and liquid penetrant. The ideal candidate will hold an ANST Level II certification or an equivalent qualification and possess at least one year of relevant experience in the field. Proctor exams and oversee testing for NDE inspector qualification at locations both domestic (US) and international. Travel +75% is required.
Key Responsibilities: NDT Technician
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using ultrasound, eddy current, and liquid penetrant techniques.
- Interpret and evaluate test results to determine material integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of testing procedures and results.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any identified defects or issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in all testing activities.
- Graduate degree in a relevant field.
- Certified in NDT methods (preferred certifications).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in non-destructive testing.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with computers and MS office products is required.
- Strong attention to detail using MS Excel.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift 25 lbs. is required.
- Data acquisition instrumentation.
- NDE experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and maintain good customer relations.
- Lifting and handling equipment (forklift, palette jack, presto lift, stacker etc.)
- Asset management and warehouse organizational experience.
- Shipping and receiving for both domestic and international.
- Knowledge of client specific administrative tools and customs protocols.
