We are seeking a NCCER Trainer for a position in Salt Lake City, UT. The Trainer position is responsible for conducting training programs for employees. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Site Manager / Department Manager; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience or equivalent combinations of experience and training in training topic / subject
- Minimum of one year of experience in the conducting training courses and subject presentations
- Knowledge of business machines, computers and/or software applications
- Candidate may be required to have knowledge of computer software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows, JD Edwards and other software as needed
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Candidate also must be able to multi-task and perform duties without constant supervision
- Must be able to think analytically and conceptually, do basic math and statistics and be proficient in writing and research methods
- Skilled in interpersonal relations and group dynamics
- Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries, LLC. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Functional Requirements:
Perform administrative functions including filing, copying, binding reports, data entry, testing and checking documentation, on the credentials of employees and potential employees, Conducts general or specialized training sessions covering specified areas, such as those concerned with, employee orientation, safety practices and regulations, productivity enhancement, technical knowledge and skills required to do a specific job function and other such subject areas which require adaptation to changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies, Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
