Responsibilities:
Leadership & Oversight:
o Oversee and guide the work of the Data Analyst and SeniorData Analyst.
o Lead the implementation of the data roadmap for theorganization.
o Drive the adoption of a new data platform acrossdepartments.
o Coordinate and support departmental business intelligence(BI) activities.
Data Governance:
o Establish and enforce organization-wide data governancepolicies.
o Implement and manage a comprehensive data catalog.
o Develop and maintain data quality standards and practices.
o Monitor and report on the progress of data initiatives.
o Ensure compliance with data privacy and securityregulations.
Collaboration & Culture:
o Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
o Collaborate with Business Relationship Partners toidentify data needs and solutions.
o Provide/coordinate training and support for data-relatedtools and processes.
o Facilitate a data community of practice for theorganization.
o Promote the use of data analytics to drivedecision-making.
o Grow data visualization and dashboard development acrossthe organization.
Innovation & Integration:
o Evaluate and integrate new data technologies andmethodologies.
o Enhance the organization s data maturity.
o Find and encourage opportunities to leverage publiclyaccessible open data.
Technical Tasks:
o Data Engineering: Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETLprocesses, and data integration solutions to ensure efficient and accuratedata flow.
o Data Science: Conduct advanced data analysis, buildpredictive models, and apply machine learning techniques to extract actionableinsights from data.
o Report Development: Design and develop comprehensivereports and dashboards that effectively communicate data insights tostakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Data Science,Computer Science, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
Background in data engineering, data science, and BIreport development, with proven experience in leading data initiatives.
Proven experience in data governance, data management, andbusiness intelligence.
Strong leadership skills with experience overseeing ateam.
In-depth knowledge of data privacy and securityregulations.
Proficiency in data visualization tools and platforms(ideally Power BI).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to drive organizational change and foster adata-driven culture.
Strong project management skills with a track record ofsuccessfully implementing data initiatives.
