Position has the flexibility to be based in either in NYC, Latham, Poughkeepsie, Buffalo, Syracuse

Job Summary:

Seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader for biennial and condition inspections on large bridges in and around New York City including Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and Robert F. Kennedy (Triborough) Bridges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead inspection team and perform bridge inspection and structural analysis as required
• Develop inspection documentation forms prior to field work
• Perform field measurements and document existing conditions
• Prepare technical inspection reports
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• NY PE license
• Min 3 + years of bridge inspection experience, less if with (1) one company: (job stability required)
• Completed the 2-week NHI Bridge Safety Inspection Course
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with TBTA or other local agencies, preferred
