A company providing energy market analytics, forecasts, and advisory services, focusing on global trends are looking for a Natural Gas Analyst. The role involves leading projects on North American energy markets, focusing on gas, oil, and coal, and providing insights on market trends and decarbonization impacts. Responsibilities include producing research, engaging with clients, and supporting strategic advisory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead research in North American energy markets, create forecasts, analyze trends, and policy impacts.
• Provide quantitative analyses to support client decisions and present findings via various channels.
• Contribute to product development by identifying new analysis opportunities to expand capabilities and impact.

Required Attributes:

• Familiarity with North American natural gas, oil, or coal markets.
• Proven experience in overseeing projects and processes in collaborative team settings, ensuring successful delivery to diverse stakeholders.
• Driven, entrepreneurial attitude with a strong ambition to expand the business.
• Skilled in data tools such as SQL, PowerBI, and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Expertise in advanced data analytics using tools like R, Python, GAMS, and Matlab.

This role is based in Austin and they work on a hybrid model. Compensation offered is $120,000-$135,000.
