WSP, USA is seeking a highly experienced and strategic National Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) Agency Coordination Leader to join our dynamic team. As the T&I Agency Coordination Leader, you will play a crucial role in elevating WSP's presence and influence within the transportation and infrastructure industry. This position requires a deep understanding of industry associations, infrastructure development agencies, client engagement, business development, and infrastructure projects.
Your Impact
- Coordinate WSP's overall involvement in transportation and infrastructure industry association groups.
- Lead WSP's participation in select key associations, such as, but not limited to, AASHTO, ARTBA, COMTO, and TRB, in the transportation sectors as well as support involvement in key infrastructure associations in the water, energy, advisory, planning and PMCM sectors.
- Stay informed about industry trends, policies, and advancements through active participation in association activities.
- Assist in Executive Director-level engagement with client leadership across the country in both transportation and infrastructure sectors.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to enhance WSP's reputation and influence in infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate closely with WSP colleagues across Regions and Business Lines, leading through influence and building a strong internal network.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the transportation and infrastructure industry landscape.
- Provide business development support by identifying opportunities, cultivating relationships, supporting pursuit and capture planning, and contributing to the growth of WSP's transportation and infrastructure practice.
- Work on projects supporting technical research areas within the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
- Contribute to leadership best practices initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of WSP's transportation and infrastructure services.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives related to Equity in the context of both transportation and infrastructure projects, including contributing guidance and thought leadership to the Equity Center of Excellence.
- Identify areas of strategic growth for WSP, whether geographic or services, and support business planning to achieve growth.
- Work closely with the Government Affairs team to support communication efforts with various levels of state and federal government.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 17 years of experience in the transportation and infrastructure industry.
- Strong network within transportation and infrastructure industry associations.
- Experience in top leadership positions of public sector infrastructure development agencies.
- Proven experience in executive-level engagement and client relationship management in both sectors.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and business development within the transportation and infrastructure sector.
- In-depth knowledge of technical research areas, leadership best practices, and infrastructure project dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
