Job Title: National Sales Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven National Sales Manager to lead our high-performance sales team in achieving our business objectives. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and enhancing the reputation and image of our company through strategic goal-setting and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective direct sales strategies to drive nationwide sales performance, overseeing independent sales representatives.
Formulate long-term sales strategies, annual forecasts, and sales operating plans, including territory and account penetration strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with management, accounting, sales, and engineering teams to pioneer new concepts, business models, and partnerships, positioning our company as an industry innovator.
Provide leadership through clear communication, coaching, and development of sales personnel, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
Manage the recruitment, orientation, training, and retention of sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Conduct field visits, performance evaluations, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Desired Education & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field with a strong sales focus.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant sales experience, including 5 years of managing independent sales forces.
Proven track record in recruiting and retaining top-performing sales teams.
Ability to develop, direct, and achieve sales plans.
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage P&L effectively.
