We are seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Physician Relationship Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, building relationships, and driving impactful initiatives across multiple levels of our organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Hospital Engagement and Relationship Management:
Collaborate with hospital-based physicians and stakeholders to coordinate care transitions and deliver targeted education on best practices.
Provide strategic direction to drive alignment across various stakeholder groups and own ongoing relationships with key stakeholders.
Clinical Leadership for Operational Teams:
Lead joint operating committees with medical group partners and stakeholders.
Establish and maintain evidence-based standards for clinical documentation and care coordination activities.
Partnership with Market Clinical Leaders:
Build and manage stakeholder relationships across functions and lead discussions to identify opportunities for improvement.
Guide analytical efforts to improve the value of services delivered while enhancing quality and patient experience.
Emotional Maturity for Effective Change Management:
Establish trust-based relationships and foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
Take initiative and demonstrate a self-start attitude in problem-solving and implementing change programs.
Ensuring Overall Program Success:
Proactively identify and respond to potential roadblocks and conduct program reviews for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with team members and senior management to drive initiatives forward.
Required Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree with current unrestricted license to practice medicine.
Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, or another relevant specialty.
5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital-based setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) is preferred.
Leadership experience in managing hospital-based physicians.
Strong understanding of healthcare finance and data-driven environments.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and implement complex programs.
