The National Fleet Dispatcher role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who can excel in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for overseeing Owner-Operators, coordinating with sites on service needs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving process improvements. Additionally, this role plays a key part in asset management and cost-saving initiatives, ensuring the efficient operation of the CTS National fleet.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The National Fleet Dispatcher is responsible for the daily dispatch operations and associated tasks for the CTS National Corporation, supporting a fleet that generates over $35 million in annual revenue.
Accountable for dispatching and assigning loads based on service needs and freight availability.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across 120+ facilities, including raw material vendors, warehouses, plants, stores, and bulk latex manufacturers, for 140 Owner-Operator drivers.
Manage service-related issues such as load refusals, reassignment, rerouting, and stop-offs.
Monitor driver locations, hours, and adherence to FMCSA regulations.
Act as the primary contact for safety and accident reporting, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
Provide ETAs and manage shipment tracking to prevent service disruptions.
Collaboration and Relationship Management
Act as a primary point of contact for internal sites and external vendors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet service and operational goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, providing support, guidance, and timely updates to ensure high levels of driver satisfaction and performance.
Address driver concerns and issues promptly, serving as an advocate and problem solver to maintain positive working relationships.
Partner with site managers and logistics teams to coordinate service needs, address challenges, and proactively identify solutions to improve operations.
Communicate effectively with vendors and customers to ensure clear expectations, timely updates, and a high standard of service delivery.
Facilitate regular check-ins with drivers and sites to gather feedback and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
Promote a customer-focused culture by fostering positive interactions and upholding professionalism in all communications.
Support onboarding and training of new drivers, ensuring they understand company expectations, compliance requirements, and operational procedures.

Responsible for trailer tracking and asset management
Oversee the daily operation and tracking of 200+ dry vans, 60+ bulk tanks, tractor and trailer rentals, and Samsara telematics units.
Ensure accurate trailer tracking and maintenance schedules to maximize fleet efficiency and minimize downtime.
Monitor and approve driver expenditures for maintenance-related costs, such as inspections, tires, and repairs.
Collaborate with vendors to optimize equipment utilization and reduce expenses.
Implement strategies to extend asset lifecycles and improve overall fleet performance.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the operational excellence of the CTS National Fleet while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost savings.
