We are in search of a results-driven National Accounts Manager to join our sales team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food Industry, or Dairy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with major food retailers in the DMV area and possess strong account expansion and sales skills as you work with key clients in the DC / Virginia / Maryland area. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop relationships with national accounts in the food industry, focusing on driving profitability and achieving sales targets.
2. Implement account expansion strategies to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
3. Conduct detailed sales analysis to understand market trends, identify growth opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
5. Develop and present business reviews to senior management, highlighting performance, opportunities, and recommended actions.
6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with national accounts, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and standards.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a national accounts / sales role within the CPG, Food Industry, or Dairy sector.
3. Proven experience working with major food and CPG retailers in the DMV area.
4. Strong account expansion skills with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
5. Proficiency in sales analysis and ability to use data to inform strategic decision-making.
6. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with national accounts.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
10. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with national accounts and attend industry events.
