PRIMARY PURPOSE
The National Account Manager is responsible for creating, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving the company's sales objectives across all regions in the country. This position is the primary contact for a specific sector including industrial, home builders, government, and emergency response.
Build and maintain customer relationships within the assigned sector, leveraging existing USS accounts
Develop national opportunities that are doing business across multiple divisions
Identify potential business outside of current USS operational areas
Conduct effective proposal calls and presentations on the company's product lines in response to the unique needs of each customer
Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion. Act as liaison between customers, sales, field operations, and office personnel to resolve general inquiries & issues
Leverage Salesforce to maximize productivity, improve customer communication, and ensure customer data is accurate
Work long and unconventional hours, accessible to clients and employees during evenings and weekends. This position requires approximately 25%-30% overnight travel
Performs other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Customer relationship development
Ability to sell value to differentiate USS from the competition
Teamwork with all sales channels and operations
Lead sourcing, closing and negotiating
Time management & organization
Excellent follow up skills (leads, issue resolution, etc.)
Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.)
Decision making and problem solving
Strong written and verbal communications
Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry preferred
Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets
Valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance
Keep up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all USS products and services
