Your Role on Our Team:
The National Account Manager (Health and Safety) will partner with Milwaukee Tool Teams and End Users focused on health and safety. In this role, the National Account Manager (NAM) (Health and Safety) will build relationships with End Users and key Distribution within the United States. The role will have an emphasis placed on communicating our health and safety innovations through our key trade organization relationships. The NAM (Health and Safety) will be responsible for working cross functionally with product, brand, and channel to develop content and solutions to put our sales team, distributors, and users in a position where they can best leverage our safety solutions.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
The growth in sales, market share and profit across the United States for the Safety vertical.
+ Provide expert advice to stakeholders on safety-related matters, including compliance and risk management.
+ Conduct onsite safety visits, review the adequacy of safety programs, and complete hazard assessments by conducting walk-throughs of worksites.
+ Develop and present training resources that inform safe working practices.
+ Identify and execute upon opportunities, both end user and distribution, to convert product to Milwaukee and other company brand products from competitive brands.
+ Coordinate the efforts of the team to identify opportunities and coordinate initiatives to engage the professional end users to convert market share and grow sales through distribution.
+ Develop superior knowledge of the marketplace (users, applications, products, competition, and channels).
+ Coordinate cross-functional Milwaukee team effort, to include product managers, service managers, and external partnerships in the design of customized programs and promotions for key end user accounts.
+ Coach and coordinate value and strategic selling tactics that focus on delivering the desired financial results to the end user.
+ Identify key accounts that have the greatest impact on regional performance and take an active role in the sales process.
Delivering the brand message to end users and distribution.
+ Support and implement corporate brand building initiatives, programs and promotions at all levels.
+ Cultivate end user demand through the efforts of your direct reports and creative sell-through programs, training, and events.
+ Attract the next generation of end users through efforts with trade schools and apprentice programs.
+ Providing feedback from the field related to:
+ Competition, end users, channels of distribution, applications and products.
+ Effectiveness of policies and programs.
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
+ Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related area.
+ A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in Health and Safety role(s).
+ In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
+ Willingness to travel 50% of the time. Mainly air travel will be required.
+ Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
+ Experience building relationships with distribution partners and industry stakeholders.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
