What we are looking for:
We are seeking a talented Video Editor / Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This position will play a pivotal role in enhancing our visual content and brand presence through professional video editing and graphic design. The ideal candidate is highly skilled at creating visually compelling content that aligns with our marketing objectives and resonates with our target audience. This role will also require the candidate to produce content like client facing videos, internal training videos, internal training graphics, etc. This role requires a creative professional with an eye for detail, a strong sense of design, and the ability to execute both video and graphic projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and digital teams to ensure cohesive branding and impactful storytelling across all media.
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and produce engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing. This includes cutting, trimming, color correction, audio mixing, and incorporating graphics/animations to produce high-quality results.
- Design eye-catching graphics for web, social media, and print materials. Develop templates, infographics, and other digital assets to support brand initiatives.
- Produce animations and motion graphics to elevate video content, including lower thirds, transitions, and other dynamic elements.
- Ensure all creative assets align with our brand identity and guidelines. Proactively work to enhance and evolve our visual brand language.
- Collaborate with marketing, social media, and content teams to develop and execute creative strategies for various campaigns, ensuring design concepts support broader business objectives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Adapt to fast-paced work and adjust designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends, new tools, and best practices in video production, graphic design, and social media trends.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000, depending on proven and relevant experience. We provide annual raises to strong performers. Starting pay is dependent on candidate qualifications, work experience, and skillset.
This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule. During your Orientation Period, the schedule will be 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. At the end of your Orientation Period, which lasts 10 weeks, you will reach your Benefit Eligibility Date. At this time, you will transition to a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days working from home each week. Further details regarding schedule flexibility and other benefits will be discussed during the interview.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, or related field with 3+ years in editorial/post-production with a focus on entertainment, retail, or advertising.
- Proven experience as a creative video editor with a strong portfolio that demonstrates technical proficiency, compelling storytelling, masterful editing, and impeccable taste.
- History of work showcasing a range of editorial styles across broadcast, streaming, web, and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of proper color correction techniques, frame rates, video compression, and industry best practices to achieve professional results.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to be resourceful and organized.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
- Experience working with Keylight 1.2 effects plugin.
- Experience coaching video talent, operating studio space with three-point lighting
- Strong ability to collaborate with others and produce content specific to others’ needs (comfortable with multiple revisions, changes, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience working with AI video platforms (e.g., HeyGen AI)
- Strong understanding of export configurations for multiple aspect ratios, platforms, etc.
- Strong ability to utilize asset libraries with proper licensing (Envato Elements, Motion Array, Adobe Stock, etc.)
- Experience with SEO and/or PPC is a plus.

Additional Information:
- We are seeking a candidate for a November 25, 2024, start date, but this can be adjusted as needed for the right candidate.
