What You'll Do
- The Multilingual Learner Program Teacher oversees and manages small group instruction across grade levels with direct intervention support services.
- Executes KIPP SoCal's Multilingual Learner Program curriculum and manages the ELPAC process
- Teach and coordinate Tier 2 & 3 intervention for target students.
- Facilitate the management and interpretation of data necessary to develop, implement and evaluate Tier 1, 2 & 3 interventions.
- Communicate and collaborate professionally with teammates, parents, and community members to assist in coordination of intervention services for target students.
- Provide non-evaluative classroom observation and feedback, modeling, and other supportive assistance necessary related to the implementation of the RTI process.
- Analyze informal and formal student assessment results to measure students' growth towards goals and to monitor students mastery of the content standards.
- Maintain high expectations for students academic achievement and conduct.
- Teach the knowledge and skills, nurture the confidence and character, and inspire the passion needed for our students to achieve their goals, live their best lives, and positively impact the world.
- Other duties as assigned by school administration
You'll Be Qualified If You Have
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Valid preliminary or CLEAR teaching Multiple Subject or single subject ELA credential - Required
- 4 or more years of full time teaching experience, especially with Multilingual Learner students and programs
