As a Permanent Multifamily Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, cost control, quality control, safety, and contract negotiation. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
2. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedule, cost, resources, risk, quality, and communication.
3. Negotiate contracts with architects, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
4. Manage project budget, including tracking costs and ensuring all aspects of the project are delivered within budget.
5. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure project meets or exceeds client expectations.
6. Ensure compliance with construction safety regulations and standards.
7. Resolve any project-related issues or problems promptly and effectively.
8. Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
9. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
10. Continuously seek ways to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in multifamily construction.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multifamily construction projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
4. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative and creative solutions.
6. Excellent knowledge of construction cost control and budget management.
7. Proficient in construction estimating and contract negotiation.
8. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
10. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
11. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
