Title of Position: Multi-Unit General Manager
Job Description: The Multi-Unit General Manager has a many-sided role, responsible for overseeing a variety of departments. The GM plans and manages labor, equipment, and supply requirements for these areas, ensuring efficient cost utilization and performance of employees and resources. A significant part of the role involves team development, with the aim of promoting growth within the company. This includes hiring, training, conducting performance reviews, and resolving personnel issues. The GM is also responsible for maintaining high standards across the board, from ensuring adherence to dress codes and health regulations, to upholding quality in food preparation and service. Financial responsibilities are also integral to the role. The GM is tasked with accurately operating the point-of-sale system, controlling cash and other receipts, reviewing financial statements, and implementing internal financial controls. They also assist in the development of the annual food and beverage budget and manage operations according to that budget.
