Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our clients team in Bothell, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing Podium Style Multi-Family projects ranging from one million to three hundred million dollars. This individual must reside within a sustainable commute to the Bellevue Washington or Bothell, Washington area.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction project from inception to completion.
The Project Manager is responsible for leading, overseeing, and coordinating all aspects and phases of the ground up construction project including collaborating with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase
• Review and negotiate owner contracts, subcontracts, and proposals
• Develop and maintain CPM schedule and lead construction operations to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and project QA/QC
• Evaluate progress and prepares executive project reports for company and owner groups
• Assist in permitting processes per specific project need
• Responsible for the project close-out process
- Coordinate and lead meetings with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and permits.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Candidates without a degree but with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically managing Podium Style Multi-Family construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software, scheduling software, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fluency with construction scheduling and project management software
- In-depth understanding of construction methods materials and management principles
