Are you a detail-oriented and confident communicator with excellent project and task management skills? We are seeking a Multi Family Assistant Project Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for project tracking, coordination, and communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders. You will serve as the bridge between sales and operations, ensuring each project is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytical with Strong Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen focus on both the big picture and minor details, identifying even the smallest discrepancies in schedules, budgets, invoices, and other documentation. Understand the impact of incorrect information and diligently review all documentation.
- Confident Communicator and Proactive Problem Solver: Communicate clearly and confidently, adapting your communication style to work best with clients and team members. Actively seek solutions to solve problems and embrace challenges.
- Organized and Exceptional Time Management: Effectively organize, manage, update, and maintain project schedules and budgets throughout all phases of the construction process. Juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while following set processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in interior finishes, multi-family, commercial, hospitality, residential construction administration/coordination, or a related field (preferred)
- 1+ years of prior experience as an Assistant Project Engineer or similar role (preferred)
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, supply chain, or project management industry may be substituted for a bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (required)
- Experience with construction project management and/or ERP software, such as Procore, Viewpoint Vista, MS Project, and Bluebeam (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License, good driving history, and proof of insurance (required)
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) (required), bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Ability to work on-site (no hybrid or remote options)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
