Position Summary:
Reporting to the Lead Craftsperson, this position requires expertise in industrial electrical and instrumentation work, including 3-phase motors (up to 2300 volts), control components, pneumatic control devices, transmitters, control valves, and interfacing with PLC/DCS control systems. Key Responsibilities
Safety First: Adhere to and promote safety standards by attending training, participating in safety committee meetings, and addressing safety concerns. Consistently follow safe practices, wear required protective equipment, and complete pre-job safety checklists.
Technical Expertise: Perform routine assignments independently, following drawings, sketches, and written or oral instructions. Utilize established procedures and accepted practices to execute tasks efficiently.
Documentation: Provide all required documentation, including time confirmations and job feedback upon task completion.
Versatility: Adapt to varying crew assignments and job requirements, maintaining flexibility to work safely and efficiently within a team.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have the following:
Education: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 5 years.
Skills: Proficiency in industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting and interfacing with PLC/DCS systems.
