Opening
Solvere One is seeking highly qualified System Administrator candidates to provide support to clients. The duties of this role include ensuring clients meet Solvere One technical best practices. System Administrators are experienced IT professionals and are expected to be able to resolve complex technical issues. This role requires the candidate to be able constantly learn new technologies and reverse engineer challenging technical issues.
Employees will be expected to interact with clients in various capacities and are required to travel within Northern Virginia and the DC Metro area. Professionalism and courteousness are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
Highly qualified candidates will be self-starters, highly motivated, and eager to contribute to the organization's well-being while operating in a fast-paced environment.
This role reports to the CTO.
Position Requirements:

- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves complex problems for users of personal computer software and hardware, local network, the Internet, and new computer technologies; communicates solutions to end-users.
- Recommend and implement technical solutions that increase the stability, security, or speed of client environments.
- Provide onsite technical support at client offices when necessary.
- Final escalation point for all client issues and problems, including project scoping.
- Create detailed technical documentation for resolutions of issues.
- Workflow and thorough documentation of events via PSA platform
Required Technical Experience:
- Microsoft Windows Desktop OS installation and support
- Microsoft Windows Server OS installation and support
- Apple / Mac Desktop OS installation and support
- Microsoft Office 365 administration and support
- Google Workspace administration and support
- iPhone / Android troubleshooting
- Multi-factor Authentication configuration and support
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of MS Office Suite applications
- Ability to configure TCP/IP subnetting and troubleshoot Internet connectivity
- Understanding of switching and firewalls
- Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
- DHCP, DNS
Preferred Technical Experience:
- ConnectWise Manage
- ConnectWise Automate
- IT Glue
- Azure and AWS
- Hyper-V and VMware
- Cisco, Meraki, Sophos, FortiGate solutions
- Sophos suite of solutions
This is a full-time, salaried position. Salary commensurate with experience.
