We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven MSP Business Development Manager to join our Chicago team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful placement of IT professionals. This position will also involve working with Managed Service Provider (MSP) clients to meet their Information Technology and Engineering staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their IT staffing needs and providing tailored solutions.
- MSP Client Management: Collaborate with MSP clients to understand their specific requirements and deliver high-quality staffing services.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector, including potential MSP clients.
- Leverage Connections: Utilize your professional network to generate new MSP business and expand our client base.
- Candidate Placement: Source, screen, and place qualified IT professionals in contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent positions.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights to clients.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and candidates to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, candidate placements, and other relevant activities in the company's CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT staffing, with a proven track record of success.
- MSP Experience: Experience working with MSP clients
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Network: Established professional network within the IT industry to leverage for business development.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IT industry and staffing processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
