NexGen Technologies, Inc. is looking for a MS Power Platform Business Analyst to support government applications and programs. This individual works closely with members of NexGen and Client teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Business and systems analysis includes requirements elicitation, refinement, and capture to support gap and other technical analyses.
Provides application support to end-users, including troubleshooting to identify corrections or modifications needed to meet changing user requirements.
Supports the development staff to clarify, refine, and optimize functional and non-functional requirements.
Participates in value stream mapping for the current business processes to identify opportunities for modernization and enhancements.
Participates and facilitates, upon request, all relevant meetings, workshops, and technical sessions, as well as makes formal presentations.
Develops training materials, user manuals, presentations, and reports.
Conducts group training sessions on software applications.
Develops documentation including requirements documents, analysis documents, design and specification documents, and documentation describing application configuration operating procedures.
Proposes new technologies better suited to accommodate new user requirements.
Support technical experts in assessing new software modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with the staff to identify, address and mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
Other duties may be assigned.
Technical Skills/Experience:
2-4 years of experience as a Business/Systems Analyst with team lead responsibilities.
Familiarity with all aspects of Agile Software Development Life Cycle, and configuration, change, and release management principles and concepts.
Knowledge and skills in: MS 365 including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, etc.
Big-picture oriented and have a clear understanding of components within a computer system -- hardware, software, and networks -- work together.
Knowledge of tools, techniques, methods to facilitate requirement’s elicitation, refinement, and analysis; developing strategies to assist client in efficiently.
Ability to write procedures, document business processes, and prepare technical documentation.
Desired Skills:
Working experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
Familiarity with federal government standards, policies, and guidelines.
Additional Skills:
Demonstrable ability to present ideas in a clear, logical, and concise manner, both in verbal and written communications.
The candidate should also possess strong problem-solving skills and should be a team player.
The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
US Citizenship, or legal permanent residence, or US work authorization with minimum 3 years of continuous US presence is required due to federal contract requirements.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, or related discipline

Compensation: $67,500- $79,495/year (Dependent on Experience)
