Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Representative to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and drive growth within the industrial and power generation markets. This role involves identifying opportunities, engaging with clients, and delivering tailored solutions to meet revenue objectives within the assigned region.
Job Summary
- Develop and close business opportunities within the marine and power generation sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through consultative selling and strategic engagement.
- Evaluate inquiries, maintain detailed opportunity records, and deliver effective technical sales presentations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, company offerings, and regulatory developments.
- Create and implement sales and service plans to ensure order and revenue growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback internally to improve processes and solutions.
Compensation & Details
- Salary Range: $100,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience, with eligibility for bonus compensation based on gross profit.
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday.
- Travel Expectations: Up to 75%, within the Texas, Louisiana, and Gulf Coast regions.
- Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel by plane and vehicle.

Key Qualifications
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
- Proven experience in the marine and/or power generation industries, with knowledge of controls, automation, and refinery sectors.
- Networking and customer relationship management capabilities.
- Familiarity with Woodward products is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in application engineering or the power generation market with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Alternatively, 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a degree.
Other Requirements
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
