Responsibilities:Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.
Educates and protects all customers entering the magnetic field.
Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients.
Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
Assists with quality assurance processes.
Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service.

Practice reflects knowledge of HIPAA, DNV, OSHA and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding healthcare. Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
Demonstrates the knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.
EDUCATION: Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. ARRT Registered. Maintain yearly CEU requirements. Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English
EXPERIENCE: MRI experience.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist. ARRT MRI Board Registered. Current Iowa Permit to Practice. CPR certified.
