Position Overview:

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care by providing high-quality MRI imaging services. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
• Position patients correctly for imaging to ensure optimal image quality.
• Operate MRI equipment effectively and safely, adjusting parameters and optimizing image quality.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist radiologists with image-guided procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification required.
• Texas Medical Board-MRT registration required.
• BLS certification required (should not initiate patient contact until completed).
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Skills and Certifications:

• ARRT (required)
• BLS (required)
