Currently, we are seeking a motivated individual to join us as a Loan Transaction Coordinator/Loan Opener. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our loan origination staff to guide applicants through the mortgage loan process.
- Ensure applicants are mortgage-ready by sending checklists, following up on documentation, preparing paperwork, and promptly addressing customer inquiries.
- Review all loan package documents for accuracy and escalate any discrepancies to the loan officer/loan originator.
- Prepare and coordinate documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, packages, and credit reports.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the mortgage loan officer and our clients, scheduling meetings to address outstanding items.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing calls, scheduling appointments, and other office duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in finance or banking preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and provide exceptional communication and customer service to clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office is essential; familiarity with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software is advantageous.
- Advanced understanding of various loan products, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, and commercial loans.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a professional office environment, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant.
