Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time position (40 hrs/week) including weekends. We offer flexible schedules: Sunday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Saturday (12pm - 9pm EST).
- Experience: No prior mortgage experience required! We're seeking motivated, competitive, and driven sales professionals. If you possess positive energy, an ability to quickly build rapport with customers, and a passion for selling, we'll provide comprehensive training to thrive in this exciting industry.
- Role Overview: Start your journey in our outbound call center, where you'll be the first point of contact for our consumers and transfer warm leads to our team of licensed Mortgage Bankers.
- Responsibilities: Engage with potential customers, highlighting why AmeriSave is the premier lender of choice. Build rapport quickly and create exceptional customer experiences from the first interaction.
- Career Growth: Successful team members will have the opportunity to advance towards becoming Licensed Mortgage Loan Officers. Upon meeting certain metrics, you may qualify to work towards licensing requirements, receive system and sales training, and join a sales team with further coaching and support.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a high volume of calls with existing or potential homeowners.
- Pre-screen potential borrowers by confirming basic information and asking pre-qualifying questions.
- Establish and maintain friendly rapport with customers, overcoming objections by understanding their goals and interests.
- Transfer qualified warm leads to licensed Loan Officers.
- Set appointments with consumers for Loan Officers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to potential and existing customers.
What You'll Need:
- Inside or field sales experience preferred.
- Previous sales experience with a bonus component is advantageous.
- Call center experience (inbound/outbound) strongly preferred.
- Telesales experience is a plus.
- Previous collection, banking, financial services, or mortgage experience is beneficial.
- High-energy and positive attitude.
- Articulate and able to quickly develop rapport with customers over the phone.
- Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage high volume of calls.
- Ability to counter customer objections.
- Independent, self-motivated, and organized.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $16.50 per hour (or greater if required by state of residency) plus bonus per pay period based on individual performance.
- Target annual compensation: $34,000 to $55,000.
- Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), dental insurance, disability insurance, employee discounts, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, paid training, referral program, vision insurance, and supplemental pay types like bonus and referral bonuses.
