About the Job
Position Overview:
We are looking for dedicated Loan Officers to join our team. In this role, you will advise borrowers on their financial status and payment methods, and guide them through the loan application and approval process. You will also file loan applications and supporting documents, handle complaints professionally, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing guidance throughout the loan process.
- Application Processing: File loan applications and necessary supporting documents accurately and efficiently.
- Problem Resolution: Handle any complaints or awkward situations with professionalism and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in finance, banking, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software.
- Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of direct and indirect lending products and practices.
- Communication: Excellent general and interpersonal communication skills.
- Licensing: Valid state Mortgage Loan Officer license and successful completion of the NMLS Safe Test.
Training and Development:
We offer comprehensive training for all Loan Officers. Our Branch Manager, with over 28 years of industry experience, will teach you everything about loan origination. This includes file structuring, document gathering, scenario running, income calculations, credit report analysis, and guidance on using our proprietary mortgage system, 1 Solution.
Tools and Support:
- Product Pricing Engine (PPE): Run scenarios for customers, compare products, and secure the best pricing.
- Loan Origination System (LOS): Gather and fill out customer applications, upload documents, and submit files for processing.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Track all your customers and build your business.
- Communication Tools: Send emails and text messages.
- Marketing Support: Create flyers for open houses and collaborate with realtors.
- Cloud-Based System: Work from anywhere with our remote-friendly tools.
Additional Support:
- Processing Team: An organized team to handle your processing needs.
- Marketing Team: Help with building your social media presence and creating your business book.
- Loan Officer Assistant: Support for your daily tasks.
Our Loan Products:
We offer a variety of loan products, including FHA loans, reverse mortgages, Non-QM, VA, jumbo, USDA, ITIN, and more.
Location and Requirements:
We are looking for licensed MLOs in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Washington State, and Wyoming. We require a minimum of 2 loan transactions per year.
Compensation Packages:
- Original Package: 100 bps to 137.5 bps for newcomers, ideal for MLOs without prior experience or production, with no technology cost.
- Pro Package: 175 bps to 200 bps with a $75 monthly fee.
- Pro Plus Package: 175 bps designed for experienced MLOs.
- Branch Option: Up to 225 bps.
Turnaround Time:
- Average turnaround is 15 days with direct lending.
- 25 days with wholesale lending.
- 72 hours after your file closes, you will receive payment.
