The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating and processing mortgage applications, offering clients expert guidance on loan options, interest rates, and terms. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operations and efficient loan processing, working closely with internal teams, including underwriting, processing, and closing, to ensure timely and compliant loan approvals. Accuracy in documentation and adherence to regulatory standards will be essential.
The Mortgage Loan Officer will conduct detailed financial and credit evaluations to assess loan eligibility and recommending appropriate mortgage products. The Mortgage Loan Officer will collaborate with team members to maintain seamless communication throughout the loan process, ensuring an excellent experience for clients.

This is an in-person role based in Buffalo, NY.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage loan origination and processing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in mortgage software and Microsoft Office
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) registration preferred
