Standards of Performance and Goals:
- Final review of approved mortgage loan files in preparation for closing and funding by verifying underwriting conditions are approved, appropriate insurance certificates are in file, loan documentation requirements have been met, and rate lock information is valid.
- Work with closing agents to complete all documentation to be provided at closing as required by State and or Federal Regulation and needs to adhere to all timing requirements.
- Work with Loan Origination System to ensure all closed loans transfer successfully to the Loan Servicing System and all fees and charges have been accounted for using the designated accounts.
- Working with Loan Quality Control Specialist to resolve discrepancies in loan documents to meet any regulatory timing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1-3 years current/recent experience in mortgage loan processing, underwriting, and loan closing functions.
- Complete knowledge and understanding of conventional, government, NHHFA, and RD lending requirements and state and federal compliance lending regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong analytical ability and math functions with an emphasis on detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to multi-task.
- Computer experience required with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Fannie Mae Desktop underwriter, basic Excel, and related Mortgage Lending Software.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
