Responsibilities:* 1-2 years hospital experience strongly preferred *
Performs a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN. They provide assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting. They perform cleaning Functions in patient care unit as delegated, and perform selected diagnostic tests. Ability to provide continuous observation of monitored EKG patterns of patients on telemetry and reports significant information to appropriate nursing personnel; Functions within a designated hospital area to assist nursing personnel in the close observation in the monitoring of patients.

Required Licensure and Certifications | BLS |
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Good written/oral communication skills Completion of PCA II orientation/training CBO checkoff Demonstrate knowledge in the area of EKG interpretation through the following : A) Dysrhythmia Rhythm Interpretation Exam. B) Successfully complete the Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation |
