WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Providing technical support to mass production, maintenance and new model development by:
·Implementing process control to assure consistent quality and productivity.
·Generating process designs/FMEA's.
·Bringing in new technology/staying up to date with the latest innovations.
·Involving teamwork in current process improvements to control cycle times, reduce cost and reject rates.
·Supporting cross functional duties pertaining to new model schedules and development plans to ensure development of new models by their target completion date and quality support groups to meet customer expectations.
·Providing new model development and advanced technology systems. Improving speed and effectiveness of these development systems to ensures responsible, efficient, high speed, high quality and profitable new model / technology launches.
·Developing and maintaining ISO documentation to comply within the ISO standards to remain certified.
·Supporting activities surrounding new equipment / tooling purchases, installation and utility improvements to increase in-house production and meet company production needs.
·Assisting with budget development and monitoring expenditures to assure the department stays within the annual budget.
·Suggesting profitability plans/cost savings.

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY:
·You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Plastic/Mechanical Engineering
·You have 3 years of experience
·You are Proficient in injection molding
·You have experience with Robotics
·You are proficient in Microsoft office
·You have excellent project management skills
·Proficiency in 2D CAD-3D is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS:
·General Office Environment 4 hours per day.
·Manufacturing Environment 4 hours per day.
·Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
·Required to work overtime as needed.
·May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting pushing and pulling of equipment.
·May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
·Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
HAZARDS:
·While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts.
·Moderate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection.
