About the Job
The role of the Die Setter is to support the Molding Department by installing and removing injection molding tooling.
Our Team
The die setter is a vital part of the molding team. Die Setters are responsible for setting up and maintaining molds used in the injection molding process. Molding die setters help to troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with production teams to achieve efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
What You Will Do
- Stay in compliance with all Safety requirements (Safety Awareness, LO/TO, Crane operations, 6S)
- Follow procedures for installing and removing injection mold tools
- Properly start up and shut down robots and cranes
- Properly calibrate and Injection Molding Machine after a mold change
• Ability to trouble shoot equipment as needed and make standard tool repairs
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical blueprints
- Have good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing and maintenance setting is preferred but is not required. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations.
Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
