Model & Simulation Military Advisor
Location: PEO STRI, Orlando, FL
Clearance Required: TS-SCI

Work Schedule: Hybrid, In office 2 days a week
Job Summary:
PEO STRI is seeking an experienced Model & Simulation Military Advisor with a TS-SCI clearance to provide expert guidance and support to the modeling and simulation efforts within the organization. This position involves advising on military operational requirements, ensuring the effective integration of modeling and simulation technologies into training and operational systems for the U.S. Army's next-generation capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on military operations and doctrine to support the design, development, and execution of modeling and simulation systems.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that modeling and simulation solutions align with military objectives and training needs.
- Serve as the military liaison and advisor for the integration of modeling and simulation technologies into operational training environments, ensuring real-world application and relevance.
- Assist in the validation and verification of simulation models to ensure they accurately represent military tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to optimize simulation-based training and decision-support tools.
- Support program planning, execution, and risk management by providing operational insights on current and future military needs.
- Advise on the use of simulation technologies for mission planning, wargaming, and analysis to improve training outcomes and readiness.
- Ensure all simulation efforts comply with security standards and align with mission-critical objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS-SCI clearance required.
- Military background with extensive experience in operations, training, or simulation environments.
- Proven expertise in military operations, doctrine, tactics, and procedures with an understanding of how these are represented in simulation environments.
- Strong knowledge of modeling and simulation technologies used within defense environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior leadership to ensure military objectives are clearly represented in modeling and simulation solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with DoD or government agencies, especially in a simulation-focused or training support role.
- Familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle and the development of training and simulation systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply military experience to simulation-based solutions.
- Relevant certifications in modeling and simulation or military leadership.
