A Day in the Life of:
As a member of our team, you will participate as part of a team providing road cleaning maintenance for one of our local municipalities in the Metro Richmond area. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Daily traveling (with company provided transportation) with Team Leader and team members to assigned locations to pick up litter along highway.
- Completes assigned tasks following staff directions related to a specific job.
- Works as a member of a team with co-workers.
- Learns and follows positive work ethics.
- Participates in training sessions as required.
- Follows timelines for breaks and lunch periods.
- Takes responsibility for personal items.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to interact with staff and others while working in the facility and off-site, with minimal supports.
- Ability to walk, stand and/or sit for long durations (average 8 miles walking per day).
- Ability to work in different weather conditions (rain, snow, hot, cold, etc.).
- Ability to stay on task.
- Ability to take direction and follow the instruction given by Team Leader(s).
