About This Opportunity

As a Mobile applications Architect, you are joining a multidisciplinary team of engineers who create digital products that thousands of people experience every day. We are seeking a creative, hands-on, talented engineer to be a member of our platform development team. As a Mobile Applications Architect, you will be using cutting-edge and open-source frameworks for mobile applications design and development. You will bring solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: Android, iOS, RESTful APIs, Python, AWS, GCP, and many more.

Top 5 Must have requirements:

• Expertise in mobile applications development.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs development.
• Expertise in CI/CD development.
• Expertise in Instrumentation and debugging post production deployment issues. 
• Attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:



• 14+ years of experience building applications using Android / iOS.
• 4+ years of experience in one of Cloud technologies – AWS.
• 6+ years of experience in a relational and flat file database technology.
• 4+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
• 4+ years of experience with a Junit, Selenium, Cucumber JS unit testing library (Jest, Mocha)
• Expertise with CICD pipelines and deploying apps to stores.
• Expertise in MVVM Architecture.
• Expertise in Dependency injection, Annotations.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with localization/internationalization of the applications.
• Experience with security protocols in the mobile applications eco system.
• Experience Hands-on backend microservices & API development using Node.js, REST, JSON, Docker, NoSQL databases and Tomcat with full ownership of software architecture, design and development.

Preferred Qualifications:



• Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment.
• Familiar with frameworks such as Angular, Ionic and native app development is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools - Git (Gitlab).
• Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.
