Overview:
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst/Medicaid expert who will be expected to be an expert in their category of expertise. These Client will be attached to either the PBMS or the Core MMIS project and provide business expertise to the project as required by the vendor and / or HFS. They will report to the SME Team Leader designated and will provide status and other assistance as required. They will participate in requirements analysis and quality assurance testing. They will be required to document defects in quality assurance testing. They may be required to review requirements documentation from the vendors to determine accuracy of the intended solution. The SME will possess extensive experience in the areas of Member Management, Waiver Program Management, and Long Term Care as related to Medicaid activities. These activities include eligibility determination, claims processing, and case management within the legacy MMIS and the new MMIS upgrade. This expert will provide subject matter expertise to support the efforts driven by the HFS BIP Program and Policy Director.

Criteria |
Experience with managing one of the following business process areas; Long Term Care, Waiver program Management, or Member Management. The business process area will be filled in with the type of Medicaid Team Leader Expert needed when the request is sent) |
Experience and knowledge of Medicaid Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) |
Experience with the Medicaid program and function of long term care services |
Working knowledge of Federal and State long term care rebalancing initiatives |
Experience and/or knowledge of Illinois Medicaid Home and Community-based waiver options and Rule 132 State Plan Services |
Industry experience in Medicaid Management Information Systems |
Experience documenting program deliverables, progress, and status |
Experience gathering and writing business requirements for system development |
Experience producing professional business documentation |
Experience utilizing a data warehouse for analytical purposes |
Experience with MS-Word |
Experience with MS-Excel |
