A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Undergraduate Intern / Co-op, you will partner with the Human Resources team to support the daily operation of the Irvine facility through collaborative and meaningful work. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Human Resources.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Supporting the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials and assisting new hires
Assisting with exit interviews and offboarding procedures, and discovering more about how the HR department can optimize retention
Supporting employees by providing answers to questions and assisting with issue resolution
Helping prepare and distribute HR communications
Participating in the organization and coordination of HR events, training sessions, and meetings
Helping compile and analyze HR metrics and reports
Electronically filing HR documents and other HR administrative responsibilities
Skills You Bring:
Currently enrolled in, or recently completed a bachelor's degree in human resources management, business, or another related field.
Experience working in an office or manufacturing environment preferred
Proficiency in MS Office, well-developed computer skills, and the ability to complete administrative tasks efficiently
Must possess well-developed communication skills and be a good team player
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Will perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
Will primarily work in an indoor office and manufacturing environment, with some outdoor settings
