As part of a nationally recognized, award winning human service organiz...Skills and Qualifications:

Must be aged 18-25 who is or has a lived experience as a recipient of mental health, behavioral, and/or drug and alcohol services and/or has experienced traumatic events/circumstances, including homelessness and abuse; and has sought recovery. Individuals must be willing to disclose their “peer” status.

Must either currently have Peer Specialist Certification or obtain Peer Specialist Certification upon graduation of the Certified Peer Specialist Training within 6 months of date of hire (Auberle will support and fund this process)

Progressed in own recovery and be comfortable sharing your story of recovery.

Must have a basic understanding of staging client’s readiness for change as well as recovery principles

Understands and supports a trauma informed System of Care

Must have a basic understanding of mental health, behavioral health, and co-occurring disorders conditions or substance use that interfere with activities of daily living and mental health awareness

Ability to engage effectively with others, strong work ethic, flexibility, and interest in taking on new challenges

Must have obtained a High School Diploma or Equivalency

Ownership of a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance required

ACT 33/34 and FBI Clearances

Random drug testing as applicable
