Summary/Objective 

The Service/ Repair technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties including installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of rotating equipment, gearboxes, metering pumps and other industrial process equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the business's goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

1. Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical and hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment.
2. Read and interpret equipment manuals and drawings to perform required repair and service.
3. Identify and use correct precision measurement tools to ensure repairs are within manufacturer specifications.
4. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
5. Be familiar with and able to perform regular preventive maintenance on process equipment.
6. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
7. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Required Education and Experience

1. High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
2. 5+ years of mechanical repair experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical industrial skills and HVAC.
