Millwright - General Laborer - Grain Products Company, Inc.

We are currently seeking a full-time Millwright - General Laborer who has a passion for mechanical and welding work. As a Millwright - General Laborer, you'll typically work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, April through November, and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, December through March with a weekend on-call schedule during harvest time. We are closed between Christmas and New Year's Day! This mechanical position offers an excellent pay rate of $20-24/hr based on experience and terrific benefits such as paid vacation time, a 401(k), and a monthly insurance stipend ($300 for a single employee or $500 for spouses) after 90 days of employment. We also cover the cost of the yearly physical for employees with a CDL. Additionally, we offer our Grain Elevator Millwrights - General Laborers weekly pay. WHAT DOES A MILLWRIGHT - GENERAL LABORER DO?

As a Millwright - General Laborer, you're responsible for a variety of mechanical tasks each day, from erecting grain bins and relining spouts to installing and repairing equipment. You're a critical thinker and efficient problem solver, able to quickly set up and repair grain conveyors and install bearings, pulleys, and motors.

But that's not all - you're eager to learn and grow your talents. You have the opportunity to expand your construction and mechanical skillset by learning new welding techniques and working on custom fabrication projects. And safety is always a top priority as you work on scaffolding and handling structures. As a team player, you jump in to help out with any general labor tasks that arise. REQUIREMENTS FOR A MILLWRIGHT - GENERAL LABORER

The Millwright - General Laborer position requires the following:

• Willingness to work at heights on scaffolding and grain-handling structures
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job

Welding experience is preferred but we are willing to teach the right candidate!
