Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Millwright for our Valued Client in the Fowler, Ohio area. 

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00

Shift: Daylight

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishments. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Assembly: Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.

2. Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.

3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical problems and take corrective action to resolve issues, minimizing downtime.

4. Alignment and Calibration: Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient operation.

5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols in all tasks and operations. Identify safety hazards and report them promptly.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed. Complete work orders and paperwork in a timely manner.

7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members, production operators, and supervisors to achieve production goals.

8. Training and Development: Stay updated on advancements in machinery and equipment technology. Participate in training programs as required.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of machinery and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification from a technical school or apprenticeship program is a plus.
