Brief outline of role and expectations (including other duties as assigned):
- Direct Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Aid in the set-up and start-up of the new Millwork Shop space.
- Assimilate with current Millwork Shop staff and aid in sustaining our currently projected production levels.
- Assess and validate current Shop Management process and procedures and provide feedback and recommendations for leveraging strength and areas for improvement
- Assume all aspects of the management of the Millwork Shop business unit.
- Responsible for providing a safe and healthy work environment
- Responsible for all financial performance at the project level and at the business unit level.
- Responsible for all aspects of procurement, engineering, and fabrication for all Millwork Shop activities
- Responsible for timely procurement and production to meet established schedules
- Aid in Software integration for business task purposes
- Lead, mentor and train Millwork Shop Staff
- Aid in staffing of business unit
- Aid in determination of staffing needs
- Coordinate and integrate with field staff and installation
- Quality systems and quality control as a primary leader both in shop produced and field installed products
- Ownership of timely execution of the work
- Direct relationship with Clients and Subcontractors as needed
- Aid in sales and Business Development as needed for ACI GC work
- Look to expand in a measured manner into external client marketspace
- Integrate with Internal Executive team
- Provide budgeting and other preconstruction function in support of Business Development
- Aid in developing Business Plan for 1,2 and 5 year forecasting
- Aid in targeting Projects to meet and exceed Business Plan
- Assess strengths and areas to improve, provide input on leveraging strengths and establish paths for measured improvements
- Aid in establishing internal goals for safety, profit, individual development, etc
- Emphasize quality programs and systems, provide input on betterment
- Aid in employee and project team recognition
- Support and attend client business development and other functions
