Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all aspects of custom millwork projects, from initial design and planning to production and installation.
2. Collaborating with designers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and create innovative solutions.
3. Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and other project documents.
4. Managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within cost parameters.
5. Coordinating with production teams to ensure that all pieces are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
6. Implementing and overseeing quality control processes, identifying any issues or defects and taking corrective action as necessary.
7. Regularly communicating project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries in a timely and professional manner.
8. Continually seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes, contributing to the overall success and growth of our business.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the Manufacturing industry, specifically in architectural woodworking and custom millwork.
2. Proven experience with custom wood furniture and commercial furniture projects.
3. Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
4. Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
5. Demonstrated experience in implementing and overseeing quality control processes.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, designers, architects, and production teams.
7. A strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
8. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant technology.
9. A degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Manufacturing, or Woodworking would be advantageous.
