We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Millwork Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position in the engineering industry, focusing on the design and development of high-quality millwork projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of millwork, including casework, cabinetry, trim, custom finishes, and countertop design. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals while using your expertise to influence the design and execution of our projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop detailed millwork plans for various projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
2. Work closely with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of millwork designs.
3. Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications for casework, cabinetry, trim, and other millwork elements.
4. Oversee the production process, ensuring that all millwork components are built to the highest quality standards.
5. Develop innovative solutions for custom finishes and countertop designs, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each client.
6. Conduct regular inspections of ongoing projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
8. Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field of millwork engineering, and incorporate these into your work whenever appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, with a focus on casework, cabinetry, trim, custom finishes, and countertop design.
3. Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
4. Strong knowledge of millwork production processes and quality control standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
6. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on every project.
8. Willingness to keep learning and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of millwork engineering.
